ReplyDeleteSo, I went to Cahokia Mounds today and it was very interesting. I took my son along and we talked about the similarities between the Mississipian tribe and the Native Americans we learned about in Virginia last winter. If you ever get the chance to go to Williamsburg, the Jamestown settlement is very educational. There are wonderful displays in the museum and then you can walk around the settlement and there is a Native American village next to the settlement. The ships on the water are not to be missed. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteAll in all, I found it a very educational place to visit. Seemed a popular place for tourists too.
